The king then took an oath: “As surely as the Lord lives, who has delivered me out of every trouble, 

The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.

Lord God my Father,

You are my hope and protection. Give me confidence to overcome my sinful distractions. Deliver me into your design and bless the efforts that bring you Glory.
