There is no divination against Jacob,

no evil omens against Israel.

‘Even if Balak gave me all the silver and gold in his palace, I could not do anything of my own accord, good or bad, to go beyond the command of the Lord—and I must say only what the Lord says’?

Lord God my Father,

Your Peace is perfect and Holy. Help me to carry it and protect my thoughts as struggles arise. Keep my actions pleasing to you and fill me with trust in your control.
