The people say, “Our wickedness has caught up with us, Lord, but help us for the sake of your own reputation. We have turned away from you and sinned against you again and again.

Lord, we confess our wickedness and that of our ancestors, too. We all have sinned against you.21For the sake of your reputation, Lord, do not abandon us. Do not disgrace your own glorious throne.

“I will take care of you, Jeremiah.

When I discovered your words, I devoured them. They are my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies.

Lord, you are my strength and fortress, my refuge in the day of trouble!

Lord God my Father,

Forgive my wickedness and bring your Truth on me for protection of my heart. I confess to you my past and present sin nature, but I desire to be free from it and live under your authority. Thank you for your patience, now cleanse me and bring me close. Give me discernment in this darkness to only follow you.
