And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith.

your descendants will return here to this land, for the sins of the Amorites do not yet warrant their destruction.”

So Sarai said to Abram, “The Lord has prevented me from having children. Go and sleep with my servant. Perhaps I can have children through her.” 

The angel of the Lord said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit to her authority.” 

 “You are the God who sees me.”

Lord God my Father,

I ask that my faith grows so doubtless that I may only serve you and not myself. I ask that your motivation is my own and I look only for your glory in my days.
