So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.
Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested.
And to whom was God speaking when he took an oath that they would never enter his rest? Wasn’t it the people who disobeyed him? 19So we see that because of their unbelief they were not able to enter his rest.
“Today when you hear his voice,
don’t harden your hearts.”
Lord God my Father,
Keep me in your truth and protect me from falling to temptation. I know you are with me, help me to keep that knowledge in my thoughts and give me power to obey, keep my heart open to you.
