Search for the Lord and for his strength;
continually seek him.
David turned and went home to bless his own family.
Yet no matter where I have gone with the Israelites, I have never once complained to Israel’s leaders, the shepherds of my people. I have never asked them, “Why haven’t you built me a beautiful cedar house?”’
Then King David went in and sat before the Lord and prayed,
Lord God my Father,
May I seek you before every action and thought today, may we delight together in this day. May I continue to bless my family and honor you in my actions and reactions. May I carry your truth in my heart and trust you to be in control and allow your desire to flow thru me. Bring laughter and peace to my spirit in this place of confusion.
I Jesus name I pray,
