So Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord. He failed to obey the Lord’s command, and he even consulted a medium 14instead of asking the Lord for guidance.

Lord God my Father,
Harden my heart to the ways that are not of you, assist me in following your path and remove distractions from my walk. Remove my reliance on myself and place it firmly on your desire.
