My God, My Father.

They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.

“ ‘How gladly would I treat you like my children and give you a pleasant land, the most beautiful inheritance of any nation.’ I thought you would call me ‘Father’ and not turn away from following me. 20But like a woman unfaithful to her husband, so you, Israel, have been unfaithful to me,” declares the Lord.

“Return, faithless people; I will cure you of backsliding.”

Lord God my Father,

You are my strength and protector. Turn away those who wish to destroy me and show me how to overcome the attacks. Show me your way and provide for my needs and my family’s needs. You are my father and everything good in me comes from you. Cure me from my wondering.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

The Light

In the fire of his jealousy the whole earth will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live on the earth.

Woe to the city of oppressors, rebellious and defiled! 2She obeys no one, she accepts no correction. She does not trust in the Lord, she does not draw near to her God.

Lord God my Fahter,

You are the great designer and all powerful. Your way is life, any other way is death. Point out the evil surrounding me and make me stronger than the darkness. Help me to represent you well and allow your Love to be louder than the darkness.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Led

Just as he had done at Bethel, Josiah removed all the shrines at the high places that the kings of Israel had built in the towns of Samaria and that had aroused the Lord’s anger.

Neither before nor after Josiah was there a king like him who turned to the Lord as he did—with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength, in accordance with all the Law of Moses.

Nevertheless, the Lord did not turn away from the heat of his fierce anger, which burned against Judah because of all that Manasseh had done to arouse his anger.

Great is the Lord’s anger that is poured out on us because those who have gone before us have not kept the word of the Lord; they have not acted in accordance with all that is written in this book.”

Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before God when you heard what he spoke against this place and its people, and because you humbled yourself before me and tore your robes and wept in my presence, I have heard you, declares the Lord.

Lord God my Father,

Give me presence to see the idols in my life and remove them. Help me to keep my focus on your desires and lesson my own. Be with me in every struggle before me and make clear my choice and give me confidence to move when uncomfortable. Help me to delight in all things and be humble to all.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

With Him

The Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they paid no attention. 11So the Lord brought against them the army commanders of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh prisoner, put a hook in his nose, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon.

Lord God my Father,

Draw me near and show me your way. Protect me from the deceiver and secure me in your ways.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

His way!

Oh, look on us, we pray, for we are all your people.

“These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.

Lord God my Father,

Give me a heart that praises you in all situations and show me how to live in your favor. Make your way more important to me than my way.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Delight in all

No one calls for justice; no one pleads a case with integrity. They rely on empty arguments, they utter lies; they conceive trouble and give birth to evil.

“As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you,

Though in anger I struck you, in favor I will show you compassion.

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,

Why, Lord, do you make us wander from your ways and harden our hearts so we do not revere you?

Lord God my Father,

Make me despise injustice and use me to share your integrity. Keep me close and warn me when I lose focus. Keep me from anger and help me to love louder than the darkness around me. I want to delight in all that comes my way, only your strength can save me.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Willing

All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace.

And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc; 17no weapon forged against you will prevail,

You cannot fast as you do today and expect your voice to be heard on high. 5Is this the kind of fast I have chosen, only a day for people to humble themselves?

Lord God my Father,

Open my heart so I may know you in ways that can draw others to know you. Protect me from my way during struggle and help me to look past it to find the wisdom and strength intended for me. Help me to serve you as you desire without my selfish ways getting involved.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Understanding

I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”

See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;

“Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.

The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary.

See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.

For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand.

Lord God my Father,

Use me to share your light, make your desire known to me. Help me to see your plan above my expectations and act wisely in all situations giving you praise in all things. Help me to hear and see, make your understanding mine.

in Jesus name I pray,

Amen

One will

Did the gods of the nations that were destroyed by my predecessors deliver them—the gods of Gozan, Harran, Rezeph and the people of Eden who were in Tel Assar?

For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant, and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors.

“The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

Restore us, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.

Lord God my Father,

You are the only God, help me to surrender anything I may put before you in my life and live in your design. Help me to stand out and live your desire louder than mine. Keep me from hesitation when you inspire me and share your will to be done.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

True strength

I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God.

I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.

It is I who made the earth and created mankind on it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts.

“There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”

Lord God my Father,

You are the maker of all and the only one. Help me to find your way within me and give me discernment over the darkness I have found so I may release it and be made whole in you. Help me to allow your Peace to be my only strength in this day.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen
