but my ears you have opened

I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.”

But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay.

But God will shoot them with his arrows; they will suddenly be struck down. 8He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin;

Lord God my Father,

Do allow your Peace to open my spirit to join you in your will. I only want to live as you desire and share you with all in my path. I am nothing alone and without strength, allow your strength to rest on me as you desire and do it now. Destroy all who desire to drain you from my life and bring a humble spirit on all.

In Jesus name I pray,

It may be that the Lord will look upon my misery and restore to me his covenant blessing instead of his curse today.”

Lord God my Father,

Use my struggles to reveal your plan and sharpen my faith. Grant me wisdom when I stumble and help me to allow your strength to be mine, I need it.

But the thing David had done displeased the Lord.

Then David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.”

Then David got up from the ground. After he had washed, put on lotions and changed his clothes, he went into the house of the Lord and worshiped. 

Lord God my Father,

Keep me from falling from your way and protect my thoughts from pondering darkness. I am a sinner and prone to follow darkness on my own and sin. Give me a delightful spirit that seeks to be with you in all times.

But if he says, ‘I am not pleased with you,’ then I am ready; let him do to me whatever seems good to him.”

Lord God my Father,

I am ready for you to do to me as you will. If I am pleasing to you, give me your strength and patience to follow you with my whole heart. Have your way and make my life about your glory.

My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.

For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity.

Lord God my Father,

Break my arrogance and cause me to know you and your way. May I represent you well in all areas of my life and thoughts.

I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. 18If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; 19but God has surely listened

You, God, know my folly; my guilt is not hidden from you.

But as for me, I am poor and needy; come quickly to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; Lord, do not delay.

Lord God my Father,

Cleanse my thoughts and keep me close. Give me strength to overcome my sin nature and glorify you in all things before me. I am darkness without you, allow your light to overcome all the shadows I carry and rejoice in your light.

Be strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in his sight.”

Lord God my Father,

Give me strength and focus to do your will, your way. Keep me close so I may do what is good in your sight.

“Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High, 15and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

God looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.

Lord God my Father,

Protect me from evil attack and keep me close to your heart. I seek you in all things, show me where I am compromised so I may seek you completely. I wish to seek you first in all my thoughts.

Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good.

Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. 17Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish. 18Look on my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins.

Lord God my Father,

You forgive me for my past sin, help me to release the past so I may live now free with you. Help me to see as you do and believe from your desire above my own. Continue your blessings on me and help me to see them over my struggles.

Then David was angry because the Lord’s wrath had broken out against Uzzah,

“Who am I, Sovereign Lord, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?

“You, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build a house for him. So your servant has found courage to pray to you.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me from judging you when I don’t understand your plan. Keep me in your Peace and make that enough for me to follow. Lord God, I don’t have to understand you, just follow you. Help me to live by your nature more than my understanding. You show me who you are and I want to become more like you.
