“Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.12Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.

He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. 25“Where is your faith?”he asked his disciples.

When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torture me!”

When they came to Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. 36Those who had seen it told the people how the demon-possessed man had been cured.

Lord God my Father,

Allow me to know you, remove my doubt. Help me to hear and believe, allow me to find you. Help me to move ahead without my sinful desires and allow you to have your way in all things. Restore me and use me.

I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need.

“Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

When Jesus went outside, the Pharisees and the teachers of the law began to oppose him fiercely and to besiege him with questions, 54waiting to catch him in something he might say.

Lord God my Father,

Make me audacious for you and share you without worry. Help me to be for you in all things and not have different desires depending on where I am.

Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.”

“I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.26Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me close so I don’t stumble. Give me a simple desire so I may know you. Help me to see and hear you.
