Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,

The wicked will see and be vexed, they will gnash their teeth and waste away;

Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, 8who turned the rock into a pool, the hard rock into springs of water.

You who fear him, trust in the Lord— he is their help and shield.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Lord God my Father,

You are my light and delight, the darkness has no place to rest on me for your Truth protects me. Nothing can stand in your presence but light. Thank you for letting me know you and allowing me to truly rest in your presence.
