The people of Judah were exiled to Babylon because they were unfaithful to the Lord.

So Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord. He failed to obey the Lord’s command, and he even consulted a medium 14instead of asking the Lord for guidance.

Lord God my Father,

Cause my soul to only seek you and your desire for me. Remove my desire from me and allow me to know you and never to turn from your heart.
