Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. 9In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him.

How kind the Lord is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours! 6The Lord protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and he saved me. 7Let my soul be at rest again, for the Lord has been good to me.

Lord God my Father,

Your way is perfect, I can’t understand. Thank you for the struggles that shaped me and help me to face the struggles yet to come so I may continue to be delivered to your desire for me. Your mercy overwhelms me and is my strength.
