This fulfills what is written in their Scriptures15:25 Greek in their law. Pss 35:19; 69:4.: ‘They hated me without cause.’

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. 

I’m not saying I will ask the Father on your behalf, 27for the Father himself loves you dearly because you love me and believe that I came from God.16:27 Some manuscripts read from the Father.

Now we understand that you know everything, and there’s no need to question you. From this we believe that you came from God.”

31Jesus asked, “Do you finally believe? 

Yet I am not alone because the Father is with me. 

I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.

 May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. 24Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began!

Lord God my Father,

You are a God of Love and Peace. Allow your spirit to have it’s way in me so I may share you well. Allow your Peace to bring order to my thoughts and keep me from questioning you but to live in unity with you.

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

“I tell you the truth, Peter—this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny three times that you even know me.”

Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you out to preach the Good News and you did not have money, a traveler’s bag, or an extra pair of sandals, did you need anything?”

 “But now,” he said, “take your money and a traveler’s bag. And if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one! 37For the time has come for this prophecy about me to be fulfilled: ‘He was counted among the rebels.’22:37 Isa 53:12. Yes, everything written about me by the prophets will come true.”

1 “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.

I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! 

Lord God my Father,

Help me to identify the conditions I add to how I love, restore my heart to you completely. Keep me from turning away and keep my focus on you alone and cause me to follow you in all things. Give me wisdom and discernment and a Peace that keeps me on your path and a Joy that confirms my desires are true to you.

“How much will you pay me to betray Jesus to you?”

He will take you upstairs to a large room that is already set up. That is where you should prepare our meal.” 1

Mark my words—I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new with you in my Father’s Kingdom.”

Lord God my Father,

Keep me from temptation and under your authority. Help me to do your will in every thought and action and deliver me from distraction. Help me to trust your desire above mine.

“Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn.36If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping.37What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’ ”

‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

Lord God my Father,

Help me to be ready for any moment to share your wonders with those I meet. Help me to be aware of the needs of the moment to bring comfort and courage to meet the needs before me.

In Jesus name I pray,

For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. 25See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.

So don’t worry in advance about how to answer the charges against you, 15for I will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to reply or refute you! 

By standing firm, you will win your souls.

20 “And when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then you will know that the time of its destruction has arrived. 

Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.

Lord God my Father,

Give me your Peace in such a way that I will know your Truth from imposters. Allow the words you desire to come from me and allow me to be protected from deceit. I wish to represent you and your peaceful strength. Allow me to see your signs only and not fall for any lies. You are the only forever.

When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.”And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.

He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. 3“Truly I tell you,”he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others.4All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to hear you and carry your answers well. Help me to surrender all my life and things to your use, keep me from greed.

 “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.”

39Some of the teachers of the law responded, “Well said, teacher!” 40And no one dared to ask him any more questions.

Lord God my Father,

Bring your clarity to my thoughts, help me to not struggle to understand but make your way clear to me. Help me to allow your Truth on me as you desire and keep me from struggling to understand my way.

“I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. 22You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to know you and remove any doubt of who you are. You are the creator and sustainer, without you, there is nothing. Give me faith I need to share your ability with others so they may know you as well.

She did what she could. She poured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare for my burial.

“If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes.43The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side.44They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.”

Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.32And I, when I am lifted up12:32 The Greek for lifted up also means exalted. from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to release my will and do what I can for your kingdom today. Remove my strongholds of understanding and control. Keep me from allowing my desire to understand and control, to hold back your desire for my actions, make me immediately obedient so I don’t hinder your plan.

But they didn’t understand any of this. The significance of his words was hidden from them, and they failed to grasp what he was talking about.

She replied, “In your Kingdom, please let my two sons sit in places of honor next to you, one on your right and the other on your left.”

But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

“My Rabbi,10:51 Greek uses the Hebrew term Rabboni.” the blind man said, “I want to see!”

And Jesus said, “All right, receive your sight! Your faith has healed you.” 

Lord God my Father,

Open my heart to hear what you want me to hear, give me understanding when I am ready. Keep me from my selfish nature and give me boldness to pursue you without boundaries. You are my everything, heal me from my self-imposed limitations.
