I will do this because Abraham listened to me and obeyed all my requirements, commands, decrees, and instructions.

“I am the God of your father, Abraham,” he said. “Do not be afraid, for I am with you and will bless you.

“We can plainly see that the Lord is with you.

But Isaac said, “Your brother was here, and he tricked me. He has taken away your blessing.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to be still and listen. Protect me and make me obedient to your desire that lives in me. Give me confidence and courage to represent you well today. Be with me in all that I do and keep me from being deceived.
