For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all of God’s people, 5which come from your confident hope of what God has reserved for you in heaven.

He has told us about the love for others that the Holy Spirit has given you.

He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.

He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15In this way, he disarmed2:15 Or he stripped off. the spiritual rulers and authorities.

For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. 4And when Christ, who is your3:4 Some manuscripts read our. life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

You used to do these things when your life was still part of this world. 8But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language.

Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.

Lord God my Father,

Thank you for your Hope, Love, and Peace which restores me. Thank you for your forgiveness which sets me free from my past. Salvation comes so easy when I accept it without condition, the transformation in my life confirms your way. Help me to keep my new nature powerful as my old nature dies.
