And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,8:38 Greek nor rulers. neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 

“All day long I opened my arms to them, but they were disobedient and rebellious.”

Lord God my Father,

My confidence in in your Truth, nothing will separate us and that is all that matters. Thank you for opening my eyes to understand this as I do. This is the strength I need to stand firm in this confused time.

Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you. 18Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living.

Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? 25Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Lord God my Father,

Thank you for your design and the freedom to accept or reject it. Direct me in my desire to live by your Love and not by my sinful nature. Direct me in how to break all the bonds that attached me to my sinful nature and bring me into the freedom of your forgivness.

“Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin

And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb.20Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. 21He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

Lord God my Father,

Cause me to identify areas of weakness in my faith, make me obedient in my thoughts and actions so I may honor you properly. Help me to truly believe in your ability and not put my limits in the way.

Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous.16:13 Greek Be men. Be strong. 14And do everything with love.

For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes

They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.

Lord God my Father,

Keep my faith in check, give me courage. Open my eyes to see your desire and trust only in your plan.

Dear brothers and sisters, don’t be childish in your understanding of these things. Be innocent as babies when it comes to evil, but be mature in understanding matters of this kind.

God is not a God of disorder but of peace,

But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results.

So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

Lord God my Father,

Give me a peace that calms my thoughts and brings order. Help me to follow your desire and restore me your plan so I may do your will with much excitement.

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 

Lord God my Father,

Open my heart to only hold your Love as you designed it.

 I am compelled by God to do it. How terrible for me if I didn’t preach the Good News!

So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. 27I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.

Lord God my Father,

Soften my heart to only hear your desire so I may have the discipline needed to do your will with the energy I need.

In Jesus name I pray,

It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning.

 You do not belong to yourself, 20for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

Each of you should continue to live in whatever situation the Lord has placed you, and remain as you were when God first called you.

God paid a high price for you, so don’t be enslaved by the world.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to leave your work to you and care only for what I am called to do. Give me a heart that is content with your desire and bound to you.

But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.

Lord God my Father,

Allow me to know you as you designed it to be.

Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy. Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who are weak. Be patient with everyone.

For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness2:3a Some manuscripts read the man of sin. is revealed—the one who brings destruction.2:3b Greek the son of destruction. 4He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.

Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer. 3But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.

 “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.”

Lord God my Father,

Use me to move toward you and encourage others to as well, Keep my heart from listening to the great rebellion and rescue me from the desires of evil.
