The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.

“But I will send you the Advocate15:26 Or Comforter, or Encourager, or Counselor. Greek reads Paraclete.—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.

“There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now. 13When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth.

You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me close and protect me from the way of the world. Guide me thru the issues of today so your Glory will be revealed. Give me Truth in my faith so I may honor you in all things.

I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. 32But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.”

For the time has come for this prophecy about me to be fulfilled: ‘He was counted among the rebels.’22:37 Isa 53:12. Yes, everything written about me by the prophets will come true.”

You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. 14Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!

This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.

Lord God my Father,

Fill my heart with your Love to the point there is no room for compromise. Give me strength to endure the testing I will go thru. Bring your peace into my heart so I may Love as you have designed it. Restore me to your original design.

“A brother will betray his brother to death, a father will betray his own child, and children will rebel against their parents and cause them to be killed. 13And everyone will hate you because you are my followers.13:13 Greek on account of my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

“Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There he is,’ don’t believe it. 22For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. 23Watch out! I have warned you about this ahead of time!

And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. 11And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. 12Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. 13But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 

Lord God my Father,

Protect me from the lies of the world, give me courage to do you will when it may put me in a bad place, give me discernment over your will and the will of the world. Keep my eyes focused on you, allow me to be one of the chosen.

Then Satan entered into Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve disciples, 

So the two disciples went into the city and found everything just as Jesus had said, and they prepared the Passover meal there.

When Judas had eaten the bread, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus told him, “Hurry and do what you’re going to do.” 

Lord God my Father,

Protect me and keep me close so I may not be distracted. Give me an obedient heart that does what you ask without hesitation. Protect me from my sinful nature.

“But the tenant farmers said to one another, ‘Here comes the heir to this estate. Let’s kill him and get the estate for ourselves!’ 8So they grabbed him and murdered him and threw his body out of the vineyard.9“What do you suppose the owner of the vineyard will do?” Jesus asked. 

“give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.”

I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’22:32 Exod 3:6. So he is the God of the living, not the dead.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me with my perspective, keep my heart as a servant to you ignoring my selfish ways.

“If you trust me, you are trusting not only me, but also God who sent me. 45For when you see me, you are seeing the one who sent me. 46I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark.

“I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to look past this world and have full faith in who you are, open my eyes to your truth and keep me humble with your Truth in my heart. I want the faith I should have.

“Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

“‘Yes,’ the king replied, ‘and to those who use well what they are given, even more will be given.

Lord God my Father,

Have mercy on me for I am a sinner, restore my thoughts and actions to be under your authority, give me the direction I need to multiply your kingdom I have been trusted with.

 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

“Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked. “Only God is truly good.

“What is impossible for people is possible with God.”

Lord God my Father,

Keep me close so I may not wonder, divide me from my desire and allow your desire to grow in me so I may do your will today.

“Father, thank you for hearing me. 42You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so that they will believe you sent me.”

One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.

But when the Son of Man18:8 “Son of Man” is a title Jesus used for himself. returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”

Lord God my Father

Thank you for always hearing and thinking of me, soften my desire to understand Your Love. Help me to keep my thoughts always focused on you, not this world, Give me the faith you designed for me and remove my way from it.

“The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light.

“But Abraham said, ‘If they won’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they won’t be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”

 “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you!

‘We are unworthy servants who have simply done our duty.’”

 But Mary stayed in the house. 21Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask.”

Lord God my Father,

Give me a heart that does what it must to honor you, open my mind to expect more than my limits. Give me faith without doubt and humility to give you all credit as I do my duty. Help me to trust in you without doubt.
