“May your God, whom you serve so faithfully, rescue you.”

Not a scratch was found on him, for he had trusted in his God.

“Peace and prosperity to you!26“I decree that everyone throughout my kingdom should tremble with fear before the God of Daniel.For he is the living God,and he will endure forever.His kingdom will never be destroyed,and his rule will never end.27He rescues and saves his people;he performs miraculous signs and wondersin the heavens and on earth.He has rescued Danielfrom the power of the lions.”

The moment you began praying, a command was given. 

Lord God my Father,

Help me to keep my eyes on you in all things and trust in your plan completely. Bring your Truth back to your people and place Godly leaders in charge.

The army of heaven was restrained from responding to this rebellion. So the daily sacrifice was halted, and truth was overthrown. The horn succeeded in everything it did.8:11-12 The meaning of the Hebrew for these verses is uncertain.13Then I heard two holy ones talking to each other. One of them asked, “How long will the events of this vision last? How long will the rebellion that causes desecration stop the daily sacrifices? How long will the Temple and heaven’s army be trampled on?”14The other replied, “It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the Temple will be made right again.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to live in this most difficult time under your authority, at Peace trusting in your understanding not mine. Allow your Peace to be so overwhelming that it leads others to you.

“‘King Nebuchadnezzar, please accept my advice. Stop sinning and do what is right. Break from your wicked past and be merciful to the poor. Perhaps then you will continue to prosper.’

the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses.’

“Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud.”

Lord God my Father,

Soften my stubborn heart to accept your guidance, help me to allow you to rule over me and be obedient. May all I do bring you Glory.

They cried out to God during the battle, and he answered their prayer because they trusted in him. 

Lord God my Father,

Remind me to cry out to you before any struggle and trust in your outcome. Help me to understand you have already fought the battle for me.

In Jesus name I pray,

And suppose I tell some wicked people that they will surely die, but then they turn from their sins and do what is just and right. 15For instance, they might give back a debtor’s security, return what they have stolen, and obey my life-giving laws, no longer doing what is evil. If they do this, then they will surely live and not die.

Lord God my Father,

Convict me where I am not yours, direct me to your path and protect me from distraction.
