For who is like me, and who can challenge me?What ruler can oppose my will?”

“For the time is coming,”says the Lord,“when I will raise up a righteous descendant23:5 Hebrew a righteous branch.from King David’s line.He will be a King who rules with wisdom.He will do what is just and right throughout the land.

“Even the priests and prophets are ungodly, wicked men.

Lord God my Father,

I am heartbroken for the world as it is, Lord God poor out your mercy and justice, restore us to your care, open the eyes of the blind and the ears of the deaf so we can see you in all your glory.

“The human heart is the most deceitful of all things,and desperately wicked.Who really knows how bad it is?10But I, the Lord, search all heartsand examine secret motives.I give all people their due rewards,according to what their actions deserve.”

You alone are my hope in the day of disaster.

Lord God my Father,

Protect my heart keep it in your care. Deliver me from my past into today as you desire.

The people say, “Our wickedness has caught up with us, Lord, but help us for the sake of your own reputation. We have turned away from you and sinned against you again and again.

Then the Lord said, “These prophets are telling lies in my name. I did not send them or tell them to speak. I did not give them any messages.

“If you return to me, I will restore you so you can continue to serve me. If you speak good words rather than worthless ones, you will be my spokesman. You must influence them; do not let them influence you!

Lord God my Father,

Be with me and give me direction on where to turn, protect me from deception and keep me in your desire.

“My people bend their tongues like bows to shoot out lies. They refuse to stand up for the truth. They only go from bad to worse. They do not know me, “says the Lord.

But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I, the Lord, have spoken!

Pour out your wrath on the nations that refuse to acknowledge you—on the peoples that do not call upon your name.

Lord God my Father,

Keep you heart on me, keep my close so I don’t wonder. May I only give you glory in my actions and thoughts. Only you are worthy.

But Daniel was determined not to defile himself by eating the food and wine given to them by the king.

God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom. 

Praise the name of God forever and ever, for he has all wisdom and power.21He controls the course of world events;

 “Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel to rescue his servants who trusted in him. They defied the king’s command and were willing to die rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. 

 The Lord’s Temple is here!” 5But I will be merciful only if you stop your evil thoughts and deeds and start treating each other with justice;

Lord God my Father,

Give me the determination to care for the temple you allow me to use and bring you glory in the process. Give me your wisdom and conviction to do your will above my own. Cleanse my thoughts and direct me to your will.

In Jesus name I pray,

Perhaps the people of Judah will repent when they hear again all the terrible things I have planned for them. Then I will be able to forgive their sins and wrongdoings.”

24Neither the king nor his attendants showed any signs of fear or repentance at what they heard. 

I will pour out on them and on all the people of Jerusalem and Judah all the disasters I promised, for they would not listen to my warnings.’”

Baruch, this is what the Lord says: ‘I will destroy this nation that I built. I will uproot what I planted. 5Are you seeking great things for yourself? Don’t do it! I will bring great disaster upon all these people; but I will give you your life as a reward wherever you go. I, the Lord, have spoken!’”

Lord God my Father,

Turn our hearts back to you, open the eyes of those who know you but are not seeking you, break the grip of fear in our country. Expose deceit where ever it rest, unite your people and restore our nation.

How long, O Lord, must I call for help? But you do not listen! “Violence is everywhere!” I cry, but you do not come to save.3Must I forever see these evil deeds? Why must I watch all this misery? Wherever I look, I see destruction and violence. I am surrounded by people who love to argue and fight.4The law has become paralyzed, and there is no justice in the courts. The wicked far outnumber the righteous, so that justice has become perverted.

“Look around at the nations; look and be amazed!1:5 Greek version reads Look, you mockers; / look and be amazed and die. Compare Acts 13:41.For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn’t believe even if someone told you about it.

Gather together—yes, gather together, you shameless nation.2Gather before judgment begins, before your time to repent is blown away like chaff. Act now, before the fierce fury of the Lord falls and the terrible day of the Lord’s anger begins.3Seek the Lord, all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the Lord will protect you—protect you from his anger on that day of destruction.

Lord God my Father,

I am broken and weak, I am nothing on my own. Lord God, fill me with your strength and purpose, inspire me to carry you in all areas of my life.

This is the city to be punished,for she is wicked through and through.7She spouts evil like a fountain.Her streets echo with the sounds of violence and destruction.I always see her sickness and sores.

you were sorry and humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I said against this city and its people—that this land would be cursed and become desolate. You tore your clothing in despair and wept before me in repentance. And I have indeed heard you, says the Lord. 20So I will not send the promised disaster until after you have died and been buried in peace. You will not see the disaster I am going to bring on this city.’”

Lord God my Father,

Cleanse me to the point I can represent you well, bring me into the world and inspire me to witness your desire well. Allow your hope to flow thru me.

Lord, you are searching for honesty.You struck your people,but they paid no attention.You crushed them,but they refused to be corrected.They are determined, with faces set like stone;they have refused to repent.

Lord God my Father,

Clear my heart from compromise, make me whole under your authority. Bring boldness and compassion in my words for your glory.

 Manasseh sought the Lord his God and sincerely humbled himself before the God of his ancestors. 13And when he prayed, the Lord listened to him and was moved by his request. So the Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!

Lord God my Father,

I am arrogant and don’t know you, please direct my path and keep me under your authority.
