Upright citizens are good for a city and make it prosper,but the talk of the wicked tears it apart.

Without wise leadership, a nation falls;there is safety in having many advisers.

Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children. Those who love their children care enough to discipline them.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me under your authority, protect me from distraction. Surround me with good godly people and direct my actions. May your discipline bring me closer to you.

In Jesus name I pray,

Listen to my instruction and be wise.Don’t ignore it.34Joyful are those who listen to me,watching for me daily at my gates,waiting for me outside my home!35For whoever finds me finds lifeand receives favor from the Lord.36But those who miss me injure themselves.All who hate me love death.”

Wisdom will multiply your daysand add years to your life.

Hatred stirs up quarrels,but love makes up for all offenses.

Lord God my Father,

Open my heart to carry your words alone, Bring your peace on my and keep me in your loving way.

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

Therefore, they must eat the bitter fruit of living their own way,choking on their own schemes.32For simpletons turn away from me—to death.Fools are destroyed by their own complacency.33But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm.”

Lord God my Father,

Keep me close, correct my actions quickly to I can stay on your task, protect me from distraction and in your plan.

Help him judge your people in the right way;let the poor always be treated fairly.

Unless the Lord builds a house,the work of the builders is wasted.Unless the Lord protects a city,guarding it with sentries will do no good.2It is useless for you to work so hardfrom early morning until late at night,anxiously working for food to eat;for God gives rest to his loved ones.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to keep my peace in your design and to worship you in all that I do.

May he give us the desire to do his will in everything and to obey all the commands, decrees, and regulations that he gave our ancestors.

I will make it an object of mockery and ridicule among the nations.

“And the answer will be, ‘Because his people abandoned the Lord,

Lord God my Father,

Continue to shape my will back to your design, remove my rebellious way and restore me to your favor. Expose sin where it has a stronghold wo it may be defeated.

At that moment a thick cloud filled the Temple of the Lord. 14The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple of God.

Nevertheless, listen to my prayer and my plea, O Lord my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is making to you today.

Forgive your people who have sinned against you. Forgive all the offenses they have committed against you. Make their captors merciful to them,

 Forgive your people who have sinned against you.40“O my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to all the prayers made to you in this place.

Lord God my Father,

Fill my life with your presence, give me desire to release my sin nature and carry your desire without compromise. Forgive me of my past and take it from me so I can be with you in this moment.

When all Israel heard the king’s decision, the people were in awe of the king, for they saw the wisdom God had given him for rendering justice.

Lord God my father,
Give me a faith powerful enough to stay in your desire.

Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?”

I will give you what you asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have! 

Lord God my Father,

Open my heart to know you, guide me with your desire. I need you in order to be whole.

Come back, we beg you, O God of Heaven’s Armies. Look down from heaven and see our plight. Take care of this grapevine15that you yourself have planted, this son you have raised for yourself.16For we are chopped up and burned by our enemies. May they perish at the sight of your frown.17Strengthen the man you love, the son of your choice.18Then we will never abandon you again. Revive us so we can call on your name once more.

Lord God my Father,

Bring us back to your heart and under your authority. I want to live in your blessing. Clean my heart from any distraction that causes my eyes to look anywhere other than you.

For God says, “I will break the strength of the wicked,but I will increase the power of the godly.”

Your road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters—

So each generation should set its hope anew on God,not forgetting his glorious miraclesand obeying his commands.8Then they will not be like their ancestors—stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful,refusing to give their hearts to God.

Oh, how often they rebelled against him in the wildernessand grieved his heart in that dry wasteland.

Lord God my Father,

Open my heart to truly hear your desire, quiet my spirit so I can only hear you over the noise. Protect my thoughts so they will rest with you, don’t let deceit reach me and turn my heart from you.
