My sons, do not neglect your duties any longer!
They were careful to follow all the Lord’s instructions in their work.
So the people brought their sacrifices and thanksgiving offerings, and all whose hearts were willing brought burnt offerings, too.
Lord God my Father,
Hold me accountable and keep me obedient so I may follow your instructions. Make my heart move away from my desire and to yours.

The people of Moab will worship at their pagan shrines,but it will do them no good.They will cry to the gods in their temples,but no one will be able to save them.
Lord God my Father,
Set me free from my arrogance, allow me to live under your authority alone, I am a bone head without your over site. Soften my head and heart to only feel your direction.

Wash yourselves and be clean!Get your sins out of my sight.Give up your evil ways.

Open my heart to learn from you and cleanse me from my sinful nature, Make me pure in your eyes.

I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices.I want you to know me
So now, come back to your God.Act with love and justice,and always depend on him.
Let those who are wise understand these things.Let those with discernment listen carefully.The paths of the Lord are true and right,and righteous people live by walking in them.But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.
Lord God my Father,
Keep me in your Love, I depend on you. Allow your peace and truth to flow thru me and protect me from stumbling off your path.

But the king of Assyria will not understand that he is my tool;his mind does not work that way.His plan is simply to destroy,to cut down nation after nation.
Lord God my Father,
Help me to understand only your way and not struggle to understand the way of the world so I can fix it. Keep me from wanting to do your job.

How you hate honest judges!How you despise people who tell the truth!11You trample the poor,stealing their grain through taxes and unfair rent.
Lord God My Father,
Remove my rebellion, keep my close to your desire. Help me to live in your truth and express your message to the lost but keep me humble and honest.

God will overthrow you, for he has the power to help you or to trip you up.”
When King Amaziah returned from slaughtering the Edomites, he brought with him idols taken from the people of Seir. He set them up as his own gods, bowed down in front of them, and offered sacrifices to them! 15This made the Lord very angry, and he sent a prophet to ask, “Why do you turn to gods who could not even save their own people from you?”
But Amaziah refused to listen, for God was determined to destroy him for turning to the gods of Edom.
His fame spread far and wide, for the Lord gave him marvelous help, and he became very powerful.
But when he had become powerful, he also became proud, which led to his downfall.
As my life was slipping away,I remembered the Lord.And my earnest prayer went out to youin your holy Temple.8Those who worship false godsturn their backs on all God’s mercies.9But I will offer sacrifices to you with songs of praise,and I will fulfill all my vows.For my salvation comes from the Lord alone.”
Lord God my Father,
Keep me focused on you alone, protect me from distraction from this world. Make me into your witness and use me to do your will.
In Jesus name I pray,

Then he said, “Now pick up the other arrows and strike them against the ground.” So the king picked them up and struck the ground three times. 19But the man of God was angry with him. “You should have struck the ground five or six times!”
Lord God my Father,
Help me to hear you from your perspective, make me obedient to your desire and do your will this day.
