Then the people of Israel cried out to the Lord for help.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to live in your peace and not fall to temptation.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Every time Israel went out to battle, the Lord fought against them, causing them to be defeated, just as he had warned. And the people were in great distress.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to learn how to surrender my battles to your care, Give me your peace to shape my heart properly.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

If we have built an altar for ourselves to turn away from the Lord or to offer burnt offerings or grain offerings or peace offerings, may the Lord himself punish us.

But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”

Lord God my Father,

Make me aware of any areas of my life I have not completely surrendered to you, I have my struggles, take them from me and make me into your servant, soften the heart of my family to your will as well.

In Jesus name I pray,

For my part, I wholeheartedly followed the Lord my God. 9So that day Moses solemnly promised me, ‘The land of Canaan on which you were just walking will be your grant of land and that of your descendants forever, because you wholeheartedly followed the Lord my God.’

I am eighty-five years old. 11I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent me on that journey, and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then. 

Lord God my Father,

Free me from my desire that is different than yours, Remove the excuses I use to hole me back from your work.

In Jesus name I pray,

And Joshua did as he was told, carefully obeying all the commands that the Lord had given to Moses.

Lord God my Father,

Make my thoughts clear with your desire so my actions will follow only your direction for me.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

The one who has stolen what was set apart for destruction will himself be burned with fire, along with everything he has, for he has broken the covenant of the Lord and has done a horrible thing in Israel.”

I wanted them so much that I took them. They are hidden in the ground beneath my tent,

So the Israelites examined their food, but they did not consult the Lord. 

Lord God my Father,

Give me power over temptation, Keep me in your will. Keep me close so I may seek your will above my own.

In Jesus name I pray,

But the Lord said to Joshua, “I have given you Jericho, its king, and all its strong warriors.

“Do not take any of the things set apart for destruction, or you yourselves will be completely destroyed, and you will bring trouble on the camp of Israel. 

So the Lord was with Joshua, and his reputation spread throughout the land.

Lord God my Father,

May I hear your blessing louder than my selfish, small desire. May I follow your directions you lay on my heart and gain your reputation and not my own.

In Jesus name I pray,

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to stay focused in your desire and to put my desire aside so your peace will rest well on me.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

You failed to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel there.

Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love,so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives.

And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful.Yes, make our efforts successful!

Lord God my Father,

Help me stay on your path and not stray, Help me stay close and in your joy to find your success in my day.

In Jesus name I pray,

Moses summoned all the Israelites and said to them, “You have seen with your own eyes everything the Lord did in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh and to all his servants and to his whole country—3all the great tests of strength, the miraculous signs, and the amazing wonders. 4But to this day the Lord has not given you minds that understand, nor eyes that see, nor ears that hear!

The Lord your God will delight in you if you obey his voice and keep the commands and decrees written in this Book of Instruction, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul.

Lord God my Father,

Protect me from the deceiver and keep me focused on your truth. Work my heart to only carry your truth and perform your work this day.
