But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you.

For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me,
Lord God my Father,
Set my heart at peace, Help me to understand your control above mine, reveal what you want to place on my plate today and keep me from wanting to do your job.

Then the king deeply regretted what he had said; but because of the vows he had made in front of his guests,
They were totally amazed, for they still didn’t understand the significance of the miracle of the loaves. Their hearts were too hard to take it in.
all who touched him were healed.
Its significance was hidden from them, so they couldn’t understand it, and they were afraid to ask him about it.
Lord God my Father,
You are my strength and courage, help me to trust you, Help me make decisions that are according to your will and bring healing to me and those who wish to find you. Allow me to touch the outermost fringe of you and truly find your healing, open my eyes and mind to your plan.

If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.
And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded.”
Lord God my Father,
You are life, without you I am dead. Thank you Lord for opening my eyes to your way, give me strength to follow you wholeheartedly.

Lord God my Father,
I know you and trust you but struggle to follow my way, not yours. Why do I not trust you? Lord remove my stubborn way so I may surrender completely to you. Grow in me your understanding and peace, Give me strength to wait for your full answer and not take the answer too early.

I wish to be obedient to you and need your power to remove my sinful nature, I can’t do it alone.

But if I am casting out demons by the power of God, For when a strong man is fully armed and guards his palace, his possessions are safe—until someone even stronger attacks and overpowers him, strips him of his weapons, and carries off his belongings.
“Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. But when it is unhealthy, your body is filled with darkness.
If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light.”
Lord God my Father,
May your power overwhelm any darkness I allow, point out areas I need to surrender to your care, fill me with your light so others can find you.

Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Lord God my Father,
Help me to understand your desire to carry my load, Open my eyes to the truth and soften my heart to allow you control over all things I think I can do alone.

Your greatest desire is for my salvation, may I have the same desire and turn only to you.

God blesses those whose hearts are pure,for they will see God.
But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot you are in danger of being brought before the court.
But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Lord God my Father,
Keep me on your path so I may see you more, protect me from my worldly ways, keep my focus on you and turn me from lustful desires of this world.

“Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart.
The people of Nineveh will stand up against this generation on judgment day and condemn it, for they repented of their sins at the preaching of Jonah.
Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!”
Lord God my Father,
Bring unity in my life, expose the false items I desire that distracts me from your truth. I repent from my sinful nature and desire to walk on the path you place before me. I wish to only do your will but struggle to release mine.
