Now God had given the chief of staff both respect and affection for Daniel.

 the God whom we serve is able to save us.

“Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel to rescue his servants who trusted in him. They defied the king’s command and were willing to die rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. 

 All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud.”

Lord God my Father,

Give me your wisdom to do your will in my life, save me from my way and give me strength to defy Satan’s influence. Make me just and true in your way.
