Give me a heart that follows you only so the shrines I carry that are not of you can be destroyed. Strengthen my heart so I may only worship you.

The Lord had clearly instructed the people of Israel, “You must not marry them, because they will turn your hearts to their gods.” Yet Solomon insisted on loving them anyway. 

He had warned Solomon specifically about worshiping other gods, but Solomon did not listen to the Lord’s command.

Every word of God proves true.He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.6Do not add to his words,or he may rebuke you and expose you as a liar.

Lord God my Father,

Open my heart to hear your instruction and follow your way wholeheartedly. Give me discernment to know your desire and follow your truth above the lies of this world.

A stone is heavy and sand is weighty,but the resentment caused by a fool is even heavier.

Mockers can get a whole town agitated,but the wise will calm anger.

It is evil to make mindless offerings to God. 25:2 Verses 5:2-20 are numbered 5:1-19 in Hebrew text.Don’t make rash promises, and don’t be hasty in bringing matters before God.

Everything has already been decided. It was known long ago what each person would be. So there’s no use arguing with God about your destiny.

Lord God my Father,

Direct me to your peace, display my poor thoughts and beliefs and take them from me, allow me to carry your peace only. Bring direction, the direction you designed for me to the surface so I may do your will in all things.

To one who listens, valid criticismis like a gold earring or other gold jewelry.

If the godly give in to the wicked,it’s like polluting a fountain or muddying a spring.

Don’t answer the foolish arguments of fools,or you will become as foolish as they are.

There is more hope for foolsthan for people who think they are wise.

A quarrelsome person starts fightsas easily as hot embers light charcoal or fire lights wood.

Lord God my Father,

Open my heart and allow me to hear you, give me the wisdom I need to grow past my own ways and live wholeheartedly for you. May my hope come from you and not argue with your desire.

Sing to the Lord a new song.Sing his praises in the assembly of the faithful.

For the Lord delights in his people;he crowns the humble with victory.

Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!

Lord God my Father,

You are joy and life, protect my spirit from attack and keep me in your glory so I may delight in you in all things that happen in my day. May all my thoughts praise you.

You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion.

Lord God my Father,

Protect me from the desire Satan has to place darkness on my thoughts and keep me in your light so darkness has no place to stick.

You are the beginning and the end, You are,,,,,,,, Just serving you is enough purpose to live. Grant me a wholeness of heart to do your will above my desire. Give me a pure heart that only is filled with your desire, the desire you created for me.
