“What can I do for you? How can I make amends so that you will bless the Lord’s people again?”
Lord God my Father,
Please help me to rid myself from my past where I was foolish. I wish to make an amends and seek forgiveness so I may live in the now completely under your authority alone. Remove Satan’s ability to weaken me.

My victory and honor come from God alone.He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.8O my people, trust in him at all times.Pour out your heart to him,for God is our refuge.
Lord God my Father,
You are all things good in me. I trust your way. Help me to release all things to your control and find rest in your presence.

“If you think that’s the best plan, I’ll do it,” the king answered.
“O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom! If only I had died instead of you! O Absalom, my son, my son.”
Lord God my Father,
Help me to understand your plan without interfering with my thoughts, I wish to submit to all your desire for me without wondering from your plan. May I only listen to your counsel and love as you do without compromise.

Offer sacrifices in the right spirit,and trust the Lord.
Give your burdens to the Lord,and he will take care of you.He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
Lord God my Father,
Make my heart clean from my past so I can join you now in the moment with a clean, joyful heart. Help me to see the burdens you wish to carry for me.

Lord God my Father,
Give me a heart that only hears you. I only want to do your will.

Compare Rom 4:8.whose lives are lived in complete honesty!3When I refused to confess my sin,my body wasted away,and I groaned all day long.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation,and make me willing to obey you.13Then I will teach your ways to rebels,and they will return to you.
Lord God my Father,
Thank your for your patience, waiting for me to desire you more than my rebellion. Thank you for forgiving my past poor decisions. Help me to live in this new truth, your truth. Restore me to your desire.

Nevertheless, because you have shown utter contempt for the word of the Lord
David replied, “I fasted and wept while the child was alive, for I said, ‘Perhaps the Lord will be gracious to me and let the child live.’ 23But why should I fast when he is dead? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him one day, but he cannot return to me.”
Lord God my Father,
Keep me in your grace and protect me from my own decisions. I have proven to myself my thoughts on my own lead to trouble. I wish to live in your power and desire. May all I do this day bring you honor.

Help me to understand how much you love me and bring me closer to your desire for me. Separate me from my past so I may be at peace with you in the now.

May I be thankful in all I do for I do it for you. Protect and guide my thoughts so my actions will bring you glory.
