In the dream God responded, “Yes, I know you are innocent. That’s why I kept you from sinning against me, Gen 20:6

The Lord kept his word and did for Sarah exactly what he had promised. 

Then God opened Hagar’s eyes, and she saw a well full of water.  Gen 21:19

Lord God my Father,

Give me strength to keep my heart pure, remove the temptations I have struggled with and deliver me to a place of peace. I wish to trust you without compromise and have expectations of deliverance from my past.

And Abraham picked up the knife to kill his son as a sacrifice.  Gen 22:10

14Abraham named the place Yahweh-Yireh (which means “the Lord will provide”). 

Because you have obeyed me and have not withheld even your son, your only son, I swear by my own name that 17I will certainly bless you.

The man bowed low and worshiped the Lord. 27“Praise the Lord, the God of my master, Abraham,” he said. “The Lord has shown unfailing love and faithfulness to my master, for he has led me straight to my master’s relatives.”

“Well,” they said, “we’ll call Rebekah and ask her what she thinks.” 58So they called Rebekah. “Are you willing to go with this man?” they asked her.And she replied, “Yes, I will go.”

Lord God my Father,

I wish to remove any doubt as to our ability to run my life better than I do, and allow you complete use of me. Lord God, I am only a fool on my own, I have proven it over and over. Open my eyes and spirit to your plan for the rest of my life, may I only bring you glory in what I do.

And Abram built an altar there and dedicated it to the Lord,

‘Can an old woman like me have a baby?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? Gen 18:13

Sarah was afraid, so she denied it, saying, “I didn’t laugh. Gen 18:15

If I find fifty righteous people 
Suppose there are only forty-five 
Suppose there are only forty?”
suppose only thirty
Since I have dared to speak to the Lord, let me continue—suppose there are only twenty?”
“Lord, please don’t be angry with me if I speak one more time. Suppose only ten
And the Lord replied, “Then I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.”

Lord God my Father,

May I give you glory in all blessings I receive large and small, may I acknowledge it all comes from you. May I trust in your power beyond my understanding and have courage to step past my comfort and grow in boldness in trusting you to do amazing things yet in my life.

“Blessed be Abram by God Most High,Creator of heaven and earth.20And blessed be God Most High,who has defeated your enemies for you.”

And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith. Gen 15:6

Lord God my Father,

May I trust in you to have control of everything and not struggle for control. Lord, help me to develop an ever mindful awareness of your power and follow you, not try to lead you. May my faith overwhelm my own desires and follow yours in all areas.

Who gives intuition to the heart and instinct to the mind? Job 38:36

Lord God my Father,

You created me with a purpose. You placed instinct in me which I rarely followed in my youth. I wish to turn back to your original plan and away from my weak ways. Overwhelm me in your purpose and direct me back to the path that only brings you Glory.

I Jesus name I pray,

He was angry because Job refused to admit that he had sinned and that God was right in punishing him.

If God were to take back his spiritand withdraw his breath,15all life would cease,and humanity would turn again to dust.

For I have not finished defending God!

“God is mighty, but he does not despise anyone!

Lord God my Father,

I know you are fair and just, it is my desire to not own my sin that brings my struggle. Lord God, you are everything good in my life, my poor choices hide you from me. Help me to stop doing your job and rest in only the task you have placed on me so I can live in your peace.

For I am like a tree whose roots reach the water,whose branches are refreshed with the dew.

“Have I tried to hide my sins like other people do,concealing my guilt in my heart?34Have I feared the crowdor the contempt of the masses,so that I kept quiet and stayed indoors?

Lord God my Father,

I am broken and alone. I try but fail, I feel alone. Lord God, Reveal your truth, open my eyes, move my hands, guide my thoughts. I hold on to my past and bring it into this day. Make this day new in your image alone. May I please you and delight in your presence.

while I have breath from God,4my lips will speak no evil,and my tongue will speak no lies.5I will never concede that you are right;I will defend my integrity until I die.6I will maintain my innocence without wavering.My conscience is clear for as long as I live.

“God alone understands the way to wisdom;he knows where it can be found,

‘The fear of the Lord is true wisdom;to forsake evil is real understanding.’” Job 28-28

Lord God my Father,

May I be ever in your thoughts, may I seek your answer in all things. The wisdom I have came from you and there is so much more for me to seek.

“But he knows where I am going.And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. For I have stayed on God’s paths;
I have followed his ways and not turned aside. Job 23:10-11

Lord God my Father,

You know me, you know where I haven’t given you total control in my life. Today, Place my doubt in your care and allow me a glimpse of your power. I live broken hearted in my weakness, disappointing myself, family and you. May I have a day of victory, amazing victory. To you be the glory.

Even if I have sinned,that is my concern, not yours. Job 19-4

Lord God my Father,

Purify my heart and put me in my place. Judgement is in your hands, help me to focus on my own sin and not try to fix others.
