Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.”

God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. 21But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.

“Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. 14But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”

Lord God my Father,

Your miraculous signs are all around me, thank you for allowing me to see them. Protect me from the great tempter and deliver me from my earthly way. Allow me to carry your light for the world to see. Satisfy my every need so I may not be thirsty.

 Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, 6and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, 7and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.

“This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.”

 For you are a slave to whatever controls you. 

Lord God my Father,

I need more of your truth and protection from my own way. Your way leads to absolute peace but I insist on doing some things my way. Lord teach me to use your power in me to overcome my sinful way so I may bring you great Joy in all areas of my life. I wish to only be controlled by you.

that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.

Again I say, don’t get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights.

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 4They will reject the truth and chase after myths.

Lord God my Father,

Allow me to wholeheartedly accept your plan and have a faith free of doubt. Protect me from my foolish desires that allows argument. Guide me only to your truthful teaching.

In Jesus name I pray,

it is impossible to please God without faith.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. 

As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children.

This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain.

Lord God my Father,

Protect my faith with your truth, allow me to bear witness to your power alive in me. Deliver me past my past into your present so I may be free to live in your power. I accept the discipline you place on me, make it known to me areas I struggle with so I may surrender it to your care. Shake the past from me so I may have your foundation to build on.

“I will never again remember
their sins and lawless deeds.”10:17 Jer 31:34b.
18And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices.

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! 36Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

Lord God my Father,
Take my past from me, complete with my memories. Allow me to forget the time when I didn’t pursue you and deliver me into your forgiven family to be free to share your grace. Allow me to live free from the bondage of the past into a more perfect present led by your Holy Spirit.

So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.

Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested.

And to whom was God speaking when he took an oath that they would never enter his rest? Wasn’t it the people who disobeyed him? 19So we see that because of their unbelief they were not able to enter his rest.

“Today when you hear his voice,
don’t harden your hearts.”

Lord God my Father,
Keep me in your truth and protect me from falling to temptation. I know you are with me, help me to keep that knowledge in my thoughts and give me power to obey, keep my heart open to you.

In Jesus name I pray,

Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted.

If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them.

Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then.

So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you.

Lord God my Father,
Purify my heart and keep me under your care. Remove or resolve any divisions I may have with others and keep me in the present with you and not in my past.

In Jesus name I pray,

But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life.

Lord God my Father,
Have mercy on me even thou I still have so many struggles. Show me the way to surrender and find peace only in you. Use me to do your will.

In Jesus name I pray,

For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me, 24and he said, ‘Don’t be afraid, Paul,

But we want to hear what you believe, for the only thing we know about this movement is that it is denounced everywhere.”

He welcomed all who visited him, 31boldly proclaiming the Kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ. And no one tried to stop him.

Lord God my Father,
Open my eyes so I may see you, open my ears so I may hear you, open my spirit so I may follow you. Protect me from the way that is not you and teach me how to live completely surrendered to your will.

‘The God of our ancestors has chosen you to know his will and to see the Righteous One and hear him speak.

Have your sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord.

These men cannot prove the things they accuse me of doing.

As he reasoned with them about righteousness and self-control and the coming day of judgment, Felix became frightened.

‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is useless for you to fight against my will.

Lord God my Father,
You always have been so why do I doubt you in my thoughts. You have the power to overcome my lifetime of resisting you and place your peace on me. I call on you to wash me clean from my past and give me your truth to consume me and protect me from my own thoughts. It is useless for me to fight you, I want your will over my own.
