Lord God my Father,
Help me to purify my thoughts to only honor you, keep me from my way that brings me trouble and protect me from getting puffed up in my faith. I wish to be obedient to you but struggle, heal me from my way.

Lord God Almighty,

The Lord will stay with you as long as you stay with him! Whenever you seek him, you will find him. But if you abandon him, he will abandon you.

Lord God my Father,
I wish to stay with you, protect me from the wicked ways of this world, make me strong in your power and peace. May I constantly express you to those around me.

Rehoboam also wisely gave responsibilities to his other sons

But when Rehoboam was firmly established and strong, he abandoned the Law of the Lord

“But as for us, the Lord is our God, and we have not abandoned him.

Lord God my Father,
You have given me responsibilities, may I follow you. Lord God, protect me from turning my back on you, keep me strong in my desire to do your will. Keep me close. Lord God turn my heart to you and keep me pure in my worship. Keep my desire bound to you in all things.

When all the people of Israel saw the fire coming down and the glorious presence of the Lord filling the Temple, they fell face down on the ground and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying,
“He is good!
His faithful love endures forever!”

Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

Lord God my Father,
Open my eyes so I may see your Glory and open the eyes of your people so we may bring your Glory to the world around us For this world needs your light. May we as your people turn from our own nature and turn to yours.

Lord God my Father,
Soften my heart so it can be used by you to serve you and express your desire to those around me. Heal me from my past and use me without any of my own reservation to get in the way. Allow me to have wisdom of Solomon to do your work.

Your son Solomon will build my Temple and its courtyards, for I have chosen him as my son, and I will be his father.

“O Lord, the God of our ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, make your people always want to obey you. See to it that their love for you never changes. 19Give my son Solomon the wholehearted desire to obey all your commands, laws, and decrees, and to do everything necessary to build this Temple, for which I have made these preparations.”

Lord God my Father,
I know you have chosen me as your son and you only wish the best for me. It is my choice to follow you and I do but I need help protecting me from poor decisions. Make me strong and give me focus on the task at hand you wish for me to do. May I serve you wholeheartedly and rejoice in my service. You have given me all I need to bring you honor, purify my spirit so it only desires to serve you.
