So they impaled Haman on the pole he had set up for Mordecai, and the king’s anger subsided
And many of the people of the land became Jews themselves, for they feared what the Jews might do to them.
Mordecai the Jew became the prime minister, with authority next to that of King Xerxes himself.
Lord God my Father,
Take the plans and thoughts of this world that intend to weaken the world and turn them to bring you glory. Take the attack of evil and reveal it for what it is, bring truth to the light. Use me as you see fit to do your will.
