For evil people can’t sleep until they’ve done their evil deed for the day.
They can’t rest until they’ve caused someone to stumble.
17They eat the food of wickedness
and drink the wine of violence!

You will say, “How I hated discipline!
If only I had not ignored all the warnings!

Lord God my Father,
Protect me from the temptation of the wicked, keep me in your wisdom. Soften my rebellious heart so I will accept your discipline. Open my eyes to your warnings in my life.

In Jesus name,
Amen

My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline,
and don’t be upset when he corrects you.
12For the Lord corrects those he loves,
just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.

Lord God my Father,
Open my heart to move with your desire. Remove my rebellious nature. Help me to be obedient to your discipline.

Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts;
let them proclaim your power.

The Lord protects all those who love him,
but he destroys the wicked.

Lord God my Father,
May I go thru this day under your authority, Protect me from any thoughts that may cause me to stumble.

The Lord will work out his plans for my life—
for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.

Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24Point out anything in me that offends you,
and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

Lord God my Father,
Thank you for letting me live long enough to get past my youthful arrogance. To feel your Love is overwhelming and delightful. May I trust in your plan understanding how much you Love me. Purify me so I may live in your peace.

I took my troubles to the Lord;
I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer.
2Rescue me, O Lord, from liars
and from all deceitful people.

It is useless for you to work so hard
from early morning until late at night,
anxiously working for food to eat;
for God gives rest to his loved ones.

Lord God my Father,
You are the Truth, I place myself in your care. Protect me from the ways of this world and allow me to live in your Truth. My struggles are not mine for you love me and wish me to hand them over to your care. I trust in your plan for me.

Joyful are people of integrity,
who follow the instructions of the Lord.
2Joyful are those who obey his laws
and search for him with all their hearts.
3They do not compromise with evil,
and they walk only in his paths.

Open my eyes to see
the wonderful truths in your instructions.

Lord God my Father,
May I have your integrity in me and follow your instruction with all my heart. Remove my past where I strayed and allow me to live in your truth.

The Lord protects those of childlike faith;

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
His faithful love endures forever.

Lord God my Father,
May I stop questioning your way and accept your path as my own.

Oh, please help us against our enemies,
for all human help is useless.
13With God’s help we will do mighty things,
for he will trample down our foes.

How joyful are those who fear the Lord
and delight in obeying his commands.

Lord God my Father,
You are in control, why do I stress. May I bring you glory in trusting you and allowing you to have your way in all areas of my life. I have my desires but bring them in alignment with yours. Take my desire to understand out and help me to surrender it all.

In Jesus name I pray,

So he declared he would destroy them.
But Moses, his chosen one, stepped between the Lord and the people.
He begged him to turn from his anger and not destroy them.

He calmed the storm to a whisper
and stilled the waves.

Lord God my Father,
You are just in your anger for my disobedience and I accept your punishment. Heal me from my rebellion and deliver me to your peace. Give me courage to do your will at all times.

May the glory of the Lord continue forever!
The Lord takes pleasure in all he has made!

All this happened so they would follow his decrees
and obey his instructions.

Lord God my Father,
You created me so you could delight in my presence, May I live up to your desire. Lord God, May I understand your desire for me, may I fulfill your dreams and bring you glory.
