Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud.”
Daniel answered the king, “Keep your gifts or give them to someone else, but I will tell you what the writing means.
The king was overjoyed and ordered that Daniel be lifted from the den. Not a scratch was found on him, for he had trusted in his God.
Lord God,
I see your mercy all around me and struggle to be completely with you. Lord God, protect me from my sinful way and deliver me to your presence. I want to live only for you. Give me faith to do your will.
