“My Father! If this cup cannot be taken away26:42 Greek If this cannot pass. unless I drink it, your will be done.”
He prayed that, if it were possible, the awful hour awaiting him might pass him by.
Then Jesus left them again and prayed the same prayer as before.
Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
Lord God,
Prepare me for this day, use me to reach the world in your name. Give me strength over this world to do your will. Keep me close to you and help me to love the difficult to love.
