When Elkanah slept with Hannah, the Lord remembered her plea,

Why do you keep sinning? 24You must stop, my sons! The reports I hear among the Lord’s people are not good.

But I will honor those who honor me, and I will despise those who think lightly of me.

Lord God my Father,

I plea for you to remember the cry from my heart to release my will from this vessel and allow me to serve you with all my will. Remove the lazy nature and give me strength over my learned ways, the ways that do not serve you. Allow me to raise a family that is under your authority in all it does.
