Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the roadway with a drawn sword in his hand.
“Look, I have come to block your way because you are stubbornly resisting me.

“This is the message of Balaam son of Beor,
the message of the man whose eyes see clearly,
4the message of one who hears the words of God,
who sees a vision from the Almighty,
who bows down with eyes wide open:
“Alas, who can survive
unless God has willed it?
Lord God my Father,
Protect me from my weary heart, keep me strong and not weak in spirit. Place on me a obedient heart that follows you will within me and rejects my own way. Remove any fear I may have in doing your will. Open my eyes for the opportunities to serve you place around me, especially within my family. Help me to surrender to your desire for my actions today. May my actions bring you glory and fight the battles before me for I follow your will.
In Jesus name,
Amen
