Pure in purpose

You have told me, ‘I know you by name, and I look favorably on you.’

The Lord replied to Moses, “I will indeed do what you have asked, for I look favorably on you, and I know you by name.”

“No one may appear before me without an offering.
21“You have six days each week for your ordinary work

The Lord has filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.

Lord God my Father,
I long for you to look favorably on me. Work with me and prepare me to do your work, remove my learned way of this world and restore me to the purpose I was created for. May I only have a heart for you, may all things I have be released to you to use as you wish. Give me your wisdom and ability to use the ability you gave me for your Glory.

In Jesus name,
Amen

To be made aware.

for the Sabbath is a sign of the covenant between me and you from generation to generation. It is given so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.

“Come on,” they said, “make us some gods who can lead us. We don’t know what happened to this fellow Moses, who brought us here from the land of Egypt.”

Aaron saw how excited the people were, so he built an altar in front of the calf.

Then the Lord said, “I have seen how stubborn and rebellious these people are. 10Now leave me alone so my fierce anger can blaze against them, and I will destroy them.

But Moses tried to pacify the Lord his God. “O Lord!”

So the Lord changed his mind about the terrible disaster he had threatened to bring on his people.

So I told them, ‘Whoever has gold jewelry, take it off.’ When they brought it to me, I simply threw it into the fire—and out came this calf!”

Lord God my Father,
Open my heart and lead me to your presence. Protect me from the false gods I have placed before you and give me discernment and strength to surrender completely to your holiness, If I must be stubborn, make me stubborn to you. Release your glory and use me to bring you praise.

In Jesus name,
Amen

To allow Him to own my days

If you see that the donkey of someone who hates you has collapsed under its load, do not walk by. Instead, stop and help.

I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals would multiply and threaten you. 30I will drive them out a little at a time until your population has increased enough to take possession of the land.

Lord God,
Give me a servants heart, may I truly desire to bless those who wish to hurt me. Allow me to completely forgive those who wronged me and remove any desire for revenge to rest in my heart. Allow me to accept your great plan to become my plan. Remove any struggle I wish to pursue with you.

In Jesus name,
Amen

To always remember where blessings come from.

You know how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. 5Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth;

Build my altar wherever I cause my name to be remembered, and I will come to you and bless you.

Lord God my Father,
Your are mighty and good, your care for my needs and provide peace to my spirit when I submit to you. Help me to never overlook your blessings and to rely on you for all things.

In Jesus name,
Amen

To Praise, not complain

one month after leaving the land of Egypt.16:1b The Exodus had occurred on the fifteenth day of the first month (see Num 33:3). 2There, too, the whole community of Israel complained about Moses and Aaron.

Then Moses told them, “Do not keep any of it until morning.” 20But some of them didn’t listen and kept some of it until morning. But by then it was full of maggots and had a terrible smell.

“This is what the Lord commanded: Tomorrow will be a day of complete rest, a holy Sabbath day set apart for the Lord.

The Lord asked Moses, “How long will these people refuse to obey my commands and instructions?

So once more the people complained against Moses. “Give us water to drink!” they demanded.

Then Moses cried out to the Lord, “What should I do with these people? They are ready to stone me!”

Israel argued with Moses and tested the Lord by saying, “Is the Lord here with us or not?”

“This is not good!” Moses’ father-in-law exclaimed. 18“You’re going to wear yourself out—and the people, too. This job is too heavy a burden for you to handle all by yourself.

Lord God my Father,
Take my stubborn ways from me that separate me from you, make me a man of action, your action. I wish to follow your instruction above the ways of my past. You are in charge and control and I wish to submit to all your authority over me. Help me to transform the energy I use to fight you to follow you in all things. May I stop challenging your way you designed me for.

In Jesus name,
Amen

To reflect the one True God.

‘With the power of his mighty hand, the Lord brought us out of Egypt, the place of our slavery. 15Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go,

I have planned this in order to display my glory through Pharaoh and his whole army. After this the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord!”

I have planned this in order to display my glory through Pharaoh and his whole army. After this the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord!”

My great glory will be displayed through Pharaoh and his troops, his chariots, and his charioteers.

When the people of Israel saw the mighty power that the Lord had unleashed against the Egyptians, they were filled with awe before him. They put their faith in the Lord and in his servant Moses.

Lord God my Father,

May I trust in you alone to provide a path to freedom. May I trust in you to display your glory to deliver me from my sinful way and give you all Glory. Use me to display your Glory to the enemy and soften the hearts of those who do not know you. Deliver me from the bondage of my poor decisions and allow me to shine with your Glory to this fallen world.

In Jesus name,
Amen

I want to give in, why the struggle

Pharaoh quickly summoned Moses and Aaron. “I have sinned against the Lord your God and against you,” he confessed. 17“Forgive my sin, just this once,

Finally, Pharaoh called for Moses. “Go and worship the Lord,” he said. “But leave your flocks and herds here. You may even take your little ones with you.”

But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart once more, and he would not let them go.

But when he sees the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe, the Lord will pass over your home.

The people of Israel had lived in Egypt12:40 Samaritan Pentateuch reads in Canaan and Egypt; Greek version reads in Egypt and Canaan. for 430 years. 41In fact, it was on the last day of the 430th year that all the Lord’s forces left the land.

Lord God my Father
I have sinned against you and I have a heart the only wants to follow you. Lord remove my stubborn way and soften my heart to follow you without compromise. Help me to release the conditions I place on my faith and be obedient to you wholeheartedly.
