If only you would listen to his voice today!
8The Lord says, “Don’t harden your hearts

He spoke to Israel from the pillar of cloud,
and they followed the laws and decrees he gave them.
😯 Lord our God, you answered them.
You were a forgiving God to them,
but you punished them when they went wrong.

Lord God,
Soften my heart, Speak to me as I need to hear you. Give me courage to follow your voice today and not my own. Lord God, O accept your punishment with regret for my straying from your path. Forgive me of my ways and protect me from the deceiver so I may live in your freedom.
