He led me to a place of safety;
he rescued me because he delights in me.
“The Spirit of the Lord speaks through me;
his words are upon my tongue.
My heart is confident in you, O God;
my heart is confident.
No wonder I can sing your praises!
8Wake up, my heart!
Lord God,
may I delight you this day, may I allow you control over my spirit. Remove from me the desires I place in your path to to hide from you and make my path straight. I believe in you and your awesome power to release me from my sinful ways. Make my heart pure.
