Integrity

a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil.

For Job said to himself, “Perhaps my children have sinned and have cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular practice.

Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship. 21He said,
“I came naked from my mother’s womb,
and I will be naked when I leave.
The lord gave me what I had,
and the lord has taken it away.
Praise the name of the lord!”

Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and nights. No one said a word to Job, for they saw that his suffering was too great for words.

Lord God,
May I be a man of integrity, May my thoughts be pure and my heart focused on you. Lord God, I lift up my children and wife and pray for protection for them, shine your light on them and open their hearts to accept your council. May I support and pray for them from a true loving position, to bring your glory to light in this world of darkness.

In Jesus name,
Amen
