Am I willing to complain to God directly?

because he has heard your complaints, which are against him, not against us.

Those who gathered a lot had nothing left over, and those who gathered only a little had enough. Each family had just what it needed.

Tomorrow will be a day of complete rest, a holy Sabbath day set apart for the lord.

Some of the people went out anyway on the seventh day, but they found no food. 28The lord asked Moses, “How long will these people refuse to obey my commands and instructions?

The people continued to blame Moses on their situation when it was God that was guiding them to find his awesome glory.

Do I complain to God when he gives me challenges to make me stronger or to show his glory, or do I find an excuse to blame them on. If God is working on me I need to accept the opportunity and go to Him for guidance, not try to do it my way.

Lord God, help me surrender my thoughts to you and listen for your solution for today’s challenges.

In Jusus name,
Amen

God has a plan, why do I wing it alone.

I have planned this in order to display my glory through Pharaoh and his whole army.

Why did you bring us out here to die in the wilderness? Weren’t there enough graves for us in Egypt?

The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. 14The lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”

Then the lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving!

“Let’s get out of here—away from these Israelites!” the Egyptians shouted. “The lord is fighting for them against Egypt!”

Of all the Egyptians who had chased the Israelites into the sea, not a single one survived.

God has a plan, if we follow his plan then his glory will be released in our lives. God will deal with the enemy fighting us within and outward if we will stick with his plan. He will totally destroy the enemy now if we totally trust in him now and move forward. If I take my eyes off the Lord for an instant, Satan will win the moment in my life and sin is close behind.

Lord God, give me the presence of mind to stay connected with you at all times and protect me from the poor decisions of my past and present.
In Jesus name.

Pharaoh and I, are we so different?

But I will make Pharaoh’s heart stubborn so I can multiply my miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.

But again the magicians of Egypt used their magic, and they, too, turned water into blood.

Some of Pharaoh’s officials were afraid because of what the lord had said.
But those who paid no attention to the word of the lord left theirs out in the open.

Pharaoh again became stubborn.

How many plagues do I have to suffer to be broken for the lord.

Lord God, Soften my heart release me from my own stubbornness so I may live in your awesome glory.

How I relate to Moses

But I will harden his heart so he will refuse to let the people go.

“You’re just lazy! Lazy! That’s why you’re saying, ‘Let us go and offer sacrifices to the lord.’

So Moses told the people of Israel what the lord had said, but they refused to listen anymore. They had become too discouraged by the brutality of their slavery.

“I can’t do it! I’m such a clumsy speaker! Why should Pharaoh listen to me?”

Excuses, Moses had so many fears and excuses. I relate to that, I have excuses that hold me back from a life abundant.

Lord God, May your strength and power overwhelm my weakness. May I walk, and act in your desire not my limited way.

Do I hear when the Lord calls,,,

God called to him from the middle of the bush, “Moses! Moses!”
“Here I am!” Moses replied.

Ok, so I know I haven’t seen a burning bush or anything but I also know the Lord has called me. I want to answer his call but so often some excuse keeps me from saying “here I am”.

Talk about a regret.

Lord God, help me to trust in you and your power within me to overcome any excuse I may come up with that keeps me from trusting you.

Do people see that God is with me?

Potiphar noticed this and realized that the lord was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did.

“This is what the dream means,” Joseph told him.

Pharaoh’s chief cup-bearer, however, forgot all about Joseph, never giving him another thought.

how often do people say the Lord is with me?
People come to me when they want special prayers but in good times forget to call on God.

May I live in the Joy of Christ and come to him in all things.

Lord God, help me to remove all distractions in my life that remove me from your awesome Joy.

It is so confusing.

39And when they mated in front of the white-streaked branches, they gave birth to young that were streaked, speckled, and spotted.

But Jacob soon learned that Laban’s sons were grumbling about him. “Jacob has robbed our father of everything!” they said.

You know how hard I have worked for your father, 7but he has cheated me, changing my wages ten times.

Then Esau ran to meet him and embraced him, threw his arms around his neck, and kissed him. And they both wept.

So much deceit with people, yet God still pours blessings. Laban cheated Jacob so much, Rachel lied to her father about steeling idols, lie here, lie there, wow! Kind of explains life today. I want integrity to be in charge, wow how we are sinful.

Lord God, Please give a discerning heart and open my eyes to the truth no matter how painful it may be. Allow me to walk with you honest to the core. Remove from my heart the desire to be a fool.

I struggle to understand, should I just accept without understanding?

“God will provide a sheep for the burnt offering, my son,”
Then Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught by its horns in a thicket.

God ask Abraham to sacrifice his son and he was not truly honest with his answers. This confuses me even thou I do believe God will provide. I don’t want to be dishonest with my answers. He knew he was to kill Isaac, but said God would provide a sheep, was he just wishing really hard?

God, Provide discernment for my faith, allow me to follow you without question.

Who is my master, what am I master of?

But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.”

The lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil.

Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God.

Lord God, Help me to find the path free of stones and things that may trip me, help me to master over the sin in my life and with your strength be more like Noah.
