Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen;

it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.

Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

6But they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland.

let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up.

“The Lord is my helper,

so I will have no fear.

If I live with God and He with me,,,,, Don’t think about it, Do It!   “Faith”

God help me with my Faith today, Amen

I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts.

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another

But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.

I know, I really know. Before I make a decision, I know weather it will please God or not. Lord God, Help me with my decisions.

6And since it is through God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works. For in that case, God’s grace would not be what it really is—free and undeserved.

So don’t think highly of yourself, but fear what could happen.

32For God has imprisoned everyone in disobedience so he could have mercy on everyone.

36For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.

So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living.

Life in the Spirit

2And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin

7For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will.

12Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do.

25But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.

they were trying to get right with God by keeping the law instead of by trusting in him.

“How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”

I found me in Romans 7

Sin’s Power Is Broken

So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. 14Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
15Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! 16Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. 17Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you. 18Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living.
19Because of the weakness of your human nature, I am using the illustration of slavery to help you understand all this. Previously, you let yourselves be slaves to impurity and lawlessness, which led ever deeper into sin. Now you must give yourselves to be slaves to righteous living so that you will become holy.
20When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the obligation to do right. 21And what was the result? You are now ashamed of the things you used to do, things that end in eternal doom. 22But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. 23For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
