But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.

But if you do warn the righteous person not to sin and they do not sin, they will surely live because they took warning, and you will have saved yourself.”

The people will eat rationed food in anxiety and drink rationed water in despair, 17for food and water will be scarce. They will be appalled at the sight of each other and will waste away because of their sin.

Lord God my Father,

Give me a heart that knows you and your way so I may represent you and warn those who are lost. Keep fear at bay as I speak your Truth and soften the hearts of those who don’t know you. Keep me confident and calm in the difficult times before me and cause me to worship you in all situations.

“The Lord is righteous, yet I rebelled against his command. Listen, all you peoples; look on my suffering.

“See, Lord, how distressed I am! I am in torment within, and in my heart I am disturbed, for I have been most rebellious. Outside, the sword bereaves; inside, there is only death.

Lord God my Father,

Hold me close and keep my heart from my sin desires. Make me new as the day I was born and remove the rebellion that separates me from your plan for me.

So Judah went into captivity, away from her land. 28This is the number of the people Nebuchadnezzar carried into exile: There were 4,600 people in all.

Lord God my Father,

Protect your people from destruction, all those who cry out to you. Give us strength and confidence to share in the restoration of our land under your authority.

I swear by myself,” declares the Lord, “that Bozrah will become a ruin and a curse, an object of horror and reproach; and all its towns will be in ruins forever.”

“I will punish the king of Babylon and his land as I punished the king of Assyria. 19But I will bring Israel back to their own pasture, and they will graze on Carmel and Bashan; their appetite will be satisfied

I set a trap for you, Babylon, and you were caught before you knew it; you were found and captured because you opposed the Lord. 25The Lord has opened his arsenal and brought out the weapons of his wrath, for the Sovereign Lord Almighty has work to do in the land of the Babylonians.

A sword against her false prophets! They will become fools.

Lord God my Father,

Your will is perfect and will be seen no matter what. Lord God, I pray you strengthen those who love you and cause them to love louder than the hatred. Cause the good to take a stand in your Truth and proclaim it at all times and keep evil at bay. Set your trap and crush your enemy in our presence and expose the falsehoods deep in our presence.

“Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.”

Since you trust in your deeds and riches, you too will be taken captive,

“A curse on anyone who is lax in doing the Lord’s work! A curse on anyone who keeps their sword from bloodshed!

Moab will be destroyed as a nation because she defied the Lord. 43Terror and pit and snare await you, you people of Moab,” declares the Lord.

“Yet I will restore the fortunes of Moab in days to come,” declares the Lord. Here ends the judgment on Moab.

Lord God my Father,

Have your way and do what you must to call the hearts of your people back to you. We have strayed and looked to darkness to be our god, restore our focus on you and let us be with you again. Give us a passion for each other that brings us back to your design in all our affairs. Destroy the strongholds that deceive us into this darkness. Restore us in your blessing, make us great for your sake.

“Of what value is an idol carved by a craftsman? Or an image that teaches lies? For the one who makes it trusts in his own creation; he makes idols that cannot speak. 19Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Come to life!’ Or to lifeless stone, ‘Wake up!’ Can it give guidance?

I heard and my heart pounded, my lips quivered at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled. Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us.

The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.

Lord God my Father,

Open my eyes so I can see the gods I place in my life. Help me to keep all my focus on you the only God. Give me boldness to destroy the access points darkness uses to find me. You are all I need to overcome my compromise in your plan for me. You alone are my strength.

He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father had done.

He did evil in the eyes of the Lord his God and did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet, who spoke the word of the Lord. 

the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing:

23“This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:

“ ‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. Any of his people among you may go up, and may the Lord their God be with them.’ ”

Lord God my Father,

Keep my close and far from evil desires. Protect and guide my thoughts so my actions please you. Move in my heart and cause me to do boldly your will.

And this is what the Lord says: ‘This city will certainly be given into the hands of the army of the king of Babylon, who will capture it.’ ”

“Obey the Lord by doing what I tell you. Then it will go well with you, and your life will be spared. 

I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in me, declares the Lord.’ ”

How long, Lord? Will you be angry forever? How long will your jealousy burn like fire? 6Pour out your wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge you, on the kingdoms that do not call on your name;

Pay back into the laps of our neighbors seven times the contempt they have hurled at you, Lord. 13Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will praise you forever; from generation to generation we will proclaim your praise.

Lord God my Fahter,

Crush the sin nature I carry and allow things to go well with me. Make my heart obedient to your way and please you in all things I am. Protect me from the attacks by the enemy and the disappointment I cause when I act on my own. Keep me from judgment that darkens my spirit.

“This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Go and tell the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, ‘Will you not learn a lesson and obey my words?’ declares the Lord.

 ‘You have obeyed the command of your forefather Jehonadab and have followed all his instructions and have done everything he ordered.’ 19Therefore this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: ‘Jehonadab son of Rekab will never fail to have a descendant to serve me.’ ”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to learn your lesson and not allow compromise into my heart. Teach me to Love louder than the world and not fall into temptation. Show me how to be obedient to your will in all relationships, especially with my family.

They will be my people, and I will be their God. 39I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me and that all will then go well for them and for their children after them.

“This is what the Lord says: As I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will give them all the prosperity I have promised them.

his is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: 3‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

Lord God my Father,

You are my God and your way is perfect. Lord, help me to be obedient without struggling to understand what you are up to. Help me to have a Peace that restores me. Please bring a desire to serve as you desire to me and take my conditions from how I serve.
